Joby's Gorillamobile Flexible Tripod Caters To iPhone 3G & 3GS

If you ever had any doubts about just how important the iPhone 3G and 3GS is in the grand landscape of consumer electronics, let them be admonished. Joby, the company famous for producing small, mobile, flexible tripods for those on a budget, has just introduced the newest critter in its lineup. The target product? Not a camera. A cameraphone.

Yep--Joby's Gorillamobile has its eyes on the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS alone, bringing the tried and true bendable legged-tripod to Apple's newest smartphones. For those unaware of how these things work, users simply attach their phone via the built-in case, position the three-legged stand however they please (wrapping around poles is perfectly acceptable) and then fire away.
