Lenovo Adds IdeaPad U310 And U410 Ultrabooks To Its Lineup

Hope you're ready for a swarm of new notebooks, because that's what's happening this week. Lenovo is joining Acer and Asus (amongst others) by revealed two new machines, the IdeaPad U310 and U410. These guys use Intel's new 3rd-gen Core processors, and the company's investing quite a bit in advertising to make sure people know about it. The new Ultrabooks are available in a variety of vibrant colors including Sapphire Blue, Aqua Blue, Cherry Blossom Pink, Graphite Grey or Metallic Red, giving you plenty of color options starting at under $800.

The 13.3-inch U310 and 14-inch U410 measure only 0.7-inch (18mm) and 0.83-inch (21mm) thick and weigh just 3.74lbs (1.7kg) and 4.18lbs (1.9kg), respectively. You can opt for a Core i3, i5 or i7 CPU, up to 1TB of storage space, NVIDIA's GeForce graphics, and up to nine hours of battery life. Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) capabilities are included as well, and folks can opt for an SSD if they've got the cheddar. Windows 7 is the OS onboard, but you can bet these will be eligible for the Windows 8 upgrade come autumn.
