LG Announces IPS7 Monitors, Touts 1.2mm Bezel and MHL Connectivity

Launching first in Asian markets, the 27-inch LG IPS277L and 23-inch LG IPS237L IPS monitors have arrived and promise a superb picture with a smooth viewing experience. The major selling points include LG’s CINEMA SCREEN design, which results in a 1.2mm bezel and a depth of just 14.1mm, as well as Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology that’s designed to allow users to easily connect mobile devices and display content on the monitors via the HDMI port.

Both models boast an LED IPS panel, 1920x1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 178-degree viewing angles, along with 250-nit brightness and a purported 5ms response time. There’s no word yet on pricing.
