AT&T LG G3 Owners Can Finally Satisfy Sweet Tooth With Lollipop Update
It's taken a bit for wireless carriers in the U.S. to unwrap Lollipop. In this instance, LG's G3 handset was actually one of the first devices outside of Google's Nexus line to receive the new OS, though it mainly occurred in Europe and Asia while customers in the U.S. had to stand by patiently.
AT&T is pushing the update over Wi-Fi connections only, so make sure you're not on cellular when you check for the latest software. In addition to Lollipop, the over-the-air (OTA) also includes the Google setup wizard and some stability improvements, AT&T said.
In case you're new to Android, you don't have to sit around and wait for things to happen automatically. If you want to force the issue, got to Settings > General > About Phone > Software Update and follow the instructions.
