Logitech Announces G533 Wireless Gaming Headset With 7.1 Surround Sound
Gaming audiophiles will love Logitech G’s latest announcement. The company just announced its G533 Wireless Gaming Headset, which promises to provide “advanced audio performance and wireless convenience”.
Ujesh Desai, Vice President and General Manager of the Logitech gaming business, stated, “Our audio team set out to create a headset that delivers the most immersive and accurate PC gameplay experience...Now, you can amplify game sounds to achieve the most accurate positioning and experience in-game effects."
The G533 Wireless Gaming Headset features patent-pending advanced Pro-G audio drivers, which are made with a hybrid mesh material that delivers clear notes with little distortion. Logitech says that these drivers were previously only found in “high-end” headphones.
The headset also includes DTS Headphone:X surround sound technology. This tech replicates 7.1 speaker placement and audio positioning so that players can hear in-game environmental sounds more clearly. Users can also tune the volume levels for each of the seven audio channels.
The wireless headset maintains a strong connection even in high Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) settings at a range of up to fifteen meters. According to Logitech, there is minimal lag between the audio in games or movies. The headset can be used for up to fifteen hours on a single charge and is powered by rechargeable, replaceable batteries. The sports mesh ear pads and the lightweight over-the-ear design mean that the headset should be comfortable to wear as well.
