Logitech Teams With ZAGG For Keyboard-Equipped iPad 2 Case

Logitech has a long history of pumping out peripherals on their own, but for whatever reason they've decided to team up with yet another accessory maker for their newest device. The Logitech Keyboard Case is actually designed in cooperation with ZAGG, yet another peripheral maker, and it's actually one of the more unique options. It's an iPad 2 case, but it has a built-in keyboard. A couple of those have surfaced, but none of them have really managed to grab the public with stellar build quality and functionality.

This particular case is made of precision-cut aircraft-grade aluminum and features military-grade, high-density padding. It's always hard going right up against Apple themselves, but the Smart Cover definitely doesn't offer a keyboard option. The Keyboard Case has a flexible, folding hinge, and it uses Bluetooth to pair the included keyboard. You'll also be able to charge that over USB, and unlike some of the more pricey alternatives, this one will ship later this month for just $99.99.

Company Teams Up with ZAGG to Deliver First iPad 2 Case

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Logitech (SIX:LOGN) (NASDAQ:LOGI) today unveiled the Logitech® Keyboard Case, delivering type-and-go convenience for your iPad® 2. And for your convenience, the Logitech Keyboard Case uses Bluetooth® connectivity to pair the included wireless keyboard quickly and easily and the keyboard charges over USB, so you never need to worry about replacing batteries.
