Logitech’s Awesome MX Master Mouse Puts Versatility And Precision In Palm Of Your Hand

Logitech's no stranger to crafting some of the world's best computer mice, and in particular, its MX series has long been considered to be one of the best (just not for gaming). With its MX Master Wireless Mouse, Logitech continues the series' lineage, and it will take just one quick glance to see that the company is hoping to strike the right chord of those who don't just want a great mouse, but a great looking one, as well.

A major goal of the MX Master is comfort, a point that Logitech harps on about numerous times in its press release. It features a "hand-sculpted" design, and is meant to be comfortable regardless of how you use your mouse - even if it involves using multiple screens or multiple OSes. Similar to some other MX mice, but a little more profound here, the MX Master has a large palm rest - something that could help increase comfort and reduce drag.

Features-wise, this MX includes an adaptive scroll wheel that can be clicked to enable hyper-fast scrolling (this has been seen on numerous Logitech mice in the past), but something not often seen is another wheel on the thumb side, which can be clicked for side-to-side scrolling or page switching.

One of the more unique features of the MX Master is its 'Easy-Switch' button. What this will allow you to do is switch between devices instantly, whether it be using Logitech's Unifying Receiver or Bluetooth. Once configured, you could move from your desktop to your notebook over to your tablet - if you were so inclined.

The MX Master includes a rechargeable battery, and Logitech says that the mouse will last for up to 40 days on a single charge. If you happen to run into a situation where the battery dies, it takes just 4 minutes of charging to give the mouse back another day of life.

Logitech's MX Master Wireless Mouse is set to become available next month for $99.99.
