Mad Catz Reveals Co-Branded Xbox 360 Headsets At E3

E3 means new games, but it also means new game consoles, and new peripherals. The accessory makers are certainly out in full force, with Mad Catz using the show to launch a new series of Xbox 360 co-branded, co-licensed headsets. They're some of the most wildly designed headsets that we've seen to date, bringing both aural and microphone abilities to Xbox 360 gamers. They're co-branded under the Tritton and Xbox 360 brands, and will include two wireless headsets and a wired headset.

A total of three new ones are being launched. The Tritton Warhead is a 7.1 Dolby Wireless Surround Headset for the Xbox 360, which is expected to be the world's first truly wireless Dolby 7.1 surround sound headset for Xbox 360, with no wire from the headset to the Xbox 360 controller. The Devastator is also wireless, and also touts '7.1' surround sound. The Devastator specific features include: clear, balanced stereo sound, analog input, and powered by two included AA alkaline batteries. Lastly, there's the Detonator, a stereo headset with 50mm drivers, a 3.5mm jack and selective voice monitoring.

Pricing isn't available just yet, but the whole group should be on sale by the holiday season.
