Microsoft Preps Battlefield 1 Storm Grey And Military Green Xbox One S Bundles
That changes, however, with the launch of three new console bundles which will soon find their way to retail shelves. All three of Microsoft’s new Xbox One S bundles include Battlefield 1, which has gained nearly universal acclaim during its public beta.
The first bundle paints the console in storm grey and includes a matching wireless controller. The HDD capacity is listed at 500GB and you’ll be given access to a copy of Battlefield 1 Standard Edition. The second bundle matches the first, but comes in the usual white if you don’t mind the Stormtrooper-esque motif. Both bundles are priced at $299 — the storm grey Xbox One S bundle bows on November 1st, while the white bundle will ship on October 21st.
The third bundle comes with an Xbox One S console decked out in military green (with a matching wireless controller and stand) and a 1TB HDD. This particular bundle includes a copy of Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, Hellfighter Pack, Red Baron Pack, and Lawrence of Arabia Pack. Microsoft and EA are also tossing in a five Battlepacks and one month of EA Access. This bundle is priced at $349 and will be available starting on October 18th.
All of the initial hoopla surrounding the Xbox One S died down quite a bit once the new “slim” PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro debuted last week. However, Microsoft promptly puts its Xbox One S console back in the limelight when it was revealed that the PlayStation 4 Pro won’t even playback 4K Blu-ray discs:
