In partnership with Hauppauge, a familiar name in the TV tuner space, what this means is that Xbox One owners can grab signals from local broadcast networks such as CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS without a subscription cost.

In the next few months, Xbox will be partnering with Hauppauge to release a lower cost version of this tuner, the Hauppauge TV Tuner for Xbox One, retailing for MSRP $59.99, and available to everyone in the U.S. and Canada," Microsoft announced in a blog post.
