Microsoft's Surface Pro with LTE officially launched on December 1st, but since that time has only been available for business customers -- regular consumers were left out of the loop. Today, however, Microsoft has opened up sales of the cellular-equipped tablet to all customers and not just a select few.

You can now head on over to the Microsoft Store to order own "Commercial Surface Pro with LTE Advanced", as it’s officially called. Despite its name and business-oriented mission, there doesn't appear to be any restrictions in place that would prevent you or I from purchasing the tablet.

The Surface Pro with LTE is currently available in two configurations. The first comes with an Intel Core i5 processor, just 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $1,149. There's also a high-end SKU that doubles RAM and internal storage to 8GB and 256GB respectively. That will set you back $1,449.

In you are unfamiliar with this iteration of the Surface Pro, it comes with an integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 LTE modem. The modem is capable of delivering up to 1Gbps download speeds, but Microsoft is only listing the Surface Pro as being capable of reaching 450Mbps.

Like all other Surface Pros, this one features a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 2736x1824, and incorporates 802.11ac along with Bluetooth 4.1. Other niceties include a full-size USB 3.0 port, microSDXC card reader and up to 13.5 hours of battery life.
