Microsoft Teases “Ultimate Game Sale” Bundle For Xbox 360

In a matter of months, Microsoft and Sony will launch their respective Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles to retail, and as evidenced by declining dollars being spent on gaming goods, it appears gamers are especially anxious to get their paws on these next generation devices. That doesn't mean that today's consoles will suddenly fall by the wayside, however, and if you plan to stand pat with your Xbox 360, you can look forward to some upcoming discounts on popular titles.

According to Microsoft's Major Nelson, the Xbox Live Marketplace is gearing up for an "Ultimate Game Sale" in which over 30 games will be marked down. Different sets of titles will be on sale at different times during the week, and while Major Nelson wasn't able to provide details on when specific titles will be marked down or by how much, he did provide a full list of games that will be part of the sale.


Some of the bigger names on the list include Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, and Bioshock Infinite, to name just a few. Assuming Microsoft knocks a good chunk off the price of each title, this week will be a great time to beef up your Xbox 360 game library.
