New images have leaked that allege to be the folding screen smartphone, and it does look like leaked line art images we have seen in the past. The new images were leaked on Weibo from a user caleld @JJUT_, and the original post was deleted shortly after being shared. As with anything that turns up on the internet, even for a short time, the images were snagged and are here for your perusal.

In the images, we only have a single shot of the Razr phone unfolded, and it appears to have a narrow screen that is a longer portrait format when open. The failed and delayed Samsung Galaxy Fold opens in landscape format. The big question, assuming these Razr photos are real, is will Motorola be able to produce a folding screen smartphone that survives more than a couple of days in the hands of users because Samsung certainly could not.

Rumors suggest that the Razr device will be $1,500 when it lands, which is cheaper than the nearly $2,000 Samsung is asking for the Galaxy Fold. The leaked images also show the interesting box for the Razr and the accessories including a USB-A to USB-C charge cable, 3.5mm dongle, charger, earbuds, and a dock or phone holder of some sort is seen sticking out of the box. With Samsung delaying its Galaxy Fold launch, Motorola may well be the first to get a folding smartphone into the hands of consumers.
