Motorola Updates Jelly Bean Roadmap, Atrix HD Next in Line

Handset makers have a bad habit of leaving customers in the dark about upcoming Android updates or, at best, offering up vague release schedules. That isn't always the case with Motorola, which just updated its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean roadmap with a few specific dates. It's especially good news for Atrix HD owners, who are next in line to receive Jelly bean by the end of this month.

According to the roadmap, Motorola's already begun rolling out updates for the Droid Razr M and Razr Maxx HD, so if you own one of the devices and are still rocking Ice Cream Sandwich, you should actively check for an update. Here's a look at the full schedule (as it pertains to the U.S.):

Motorola Roadmap

The Electrify M and Xoom Wi-Fi + 3G/LTE tablet will both see Jelly Bean sometime in the first quarter of 2013. Motorola also confirmed that several other devices will get Jelly Bean at some point, such as the Photon Q an Electrify M, but didn't say exactly when.
