MSI Announces GT70 Graphics Upgrade, New GE70 and GE60 Gaming Notebooks

If you’ve been holding your breath waiting for MSI to add NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M graphics capabilities to its GT70 gaming notebook, you can exhale. This update rounds out the powerful specs on the GT70, which also include an Intel Core-i7 3610QM processor, Intel HM77 chipset, 12GB or 16GB of DDR3 memory, and Killer E2200 Game Networking, and everything-but-the-kitchen-sink media card reader.

MSI also announced a pair of new gaming notebooks, the GE70 and GE60. The GE70 (17.3 inches) and GE60 (15.6 inches) notebooks have the same Intel processor as the GT70, but run the Intel HM76 chipset and offer up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics. They have a 750GB HDD, 8GB of DDR3 memory, Giga LAN, 5-in-1 card readers, and a quartet of speakers.

The GE70 and GE60 will cost $1,349.99 and $1,299.99 respectively, while the GT70 starts between $1,749.99-$2,199.99.
