MSI And Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Turing Gaming Cards Confirmed By EEC Listings
February 15th is fast approaching, which is the rumored launch date for NVIDIA's Turing-based GeForce GTX graphics cards. According to a report late last week the family will include the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, GeForce GTX 1660 and the GeForce GTX 1650.
Today, further confirmation of the new Turing gaming cards comes to us via the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Both MSI and Gigabyte issued filings for a slew of GeForce GTX 1060 Ti graphics cards, which were spotted by VideoCardz. The upcoming releases include the following from MSI:
- GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GAMING Z 6G
- GeForce GTX 1660 Ti ARMOR 6G OC
- GeForce GTX 1660 Ti VENTUS XS 6G OC
- GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GAMING X 6G

As we have previously reported, although the new GeForce GTX cards are based on Turing architecture, they do not include RT cores for hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing. That functionality is reserved for the pricier GeForce RTX family, which includes the GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti.
According to previous reports, the GeForce GTX 1060 Ti and GeForce GTX 1060 have the following rumored specifications:
- GeForce GTX 1660 Ti: 1,536 CUDA cores, 96 Texture Units, 1,500MHz base clock, 1,770MHz boost clock, 6GB GDDR6 memory, 192-bit memory bus, 6,000MHz memory clock
- GeForce GTX 1660: 1,280 CUDA cores, 80 Texture Units, 1,530MHz base clock, 1,785MHz boost clock, 6GB GDDR5 memory, 192-bit memory bus, 4,000MHz memory clock
At this time, we don't have any insight on clock speeds or memory configurations for the GeForce GTX 1650. However, it's reported that the GeForce GTX 1650, GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti will be priced at $179, $229 and $279 respectively.
