MSI Introduces 17.3" CR720 Multimedia Notebook With Newest Intel CPUs
MSI has a habit of refreshing its notebook lineup very soon after Intel introduces new processors, and sure enough, it has done the same thing with its larger-than-life CR720. The new machine weighs in with a 17.3" display, a 1600 x 900 resolution panel and Windows 7 Home Premium.
Other specifications include Intel's newest Core series of processors, integrated 2W speakers, a bottom-mounted subwoofer, a chiclet keyboard, seamless touch-pad, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (optional), integrated Intel GMA graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, a 2.5" HDD (250/320/500GB SATA), 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI/VGA outputs, three USB 2.0 ports, a microphone input, a headphone jack, Ethernet and a Kensington lock slot.
There's also a 6-cell battery keeping things running when away from the power socket, and the optional Blu-ray player makes it a fairly decent multimedia machine. There's no mention of a price or release yet, which is par for the course when it comes to MSI introductions.
