MSI Launches N560GTX-Ti Hawk Graphics Card
MSI is one of those companies that has little interest in simply slapping its brand on a reference videocard and calling it a day, and instead often opts to crank up clockspeeds and use custom cooling solutions. This design philosophy is underscored by MSI's new N560GTX-Ti Hawk edition videocard.
The N560GTX-Ti Hawk comes equipped with the latest Twin Frozr III dual-fan cooling apparatus featuring MSI's exclusive Propeller Blade technology. According to MSI, this results in 20 percent more airflow than what you'll find with conventional fans, the end result being GPU temperatures up to 17 degrees lower.
Other features of the Hawk edition card include an 8+1 phase PWM design that doubles the power for the GPU, and handpicked "Military Class" components. Combined with MSI's Afterburner overclocking utility, MSI claims this is the world's first GTX 560 Ti that supports voltage adjustment of the GPU, memory, and PLL.
MSI's N560GTX-Ti sports a 950MHz core clockspeed and 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4200MHz on a 256-bit bus. No word yet on price or availability.
