MSI's 17" GT740 Equipped With Core i7, GTS 250M GPU

Another week, another MSI laptop pushing the boundaries. This time, we've got the rather large (we're being politically correct here) GT740, a beast of a gaming machine with an Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 7 operating system and a 17" cinema-grade LCD panel.

Other specifications include an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M 3D discrete graphics card (with 1GB of DDR3 RAM), five speakers, an aluminum alloy frame, built-in eSATA port, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, up to 4GB of system memory, a 2.0MP webcam, Gigabit Ethernet port, optional Bluetooth, an HDMI socket, audio in/out, three USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port and a Blu-ray drive. You'll also have room for up to 500GB of HDD space (250GB and 320GB drives are also available), while a 6 or 9 cell battery keeps things humming along (albeit briefly given the power drain).

The red and black motif definitely fits the part, but unfortunately we're not given any sort of price or release date to hone in on.
