MSI's Touts Family Friendly Wind Top AC1900 All-in-One

MSI is certainly no stranger to the all-in-one market, so what makes the company's new Wind Top AC1900 different from all the rest? According to MSI, the AC1900 is fit for "people of all ages," be it your 8-year-old son or your 78-year-old grandmother.

Just because everyone can use it doesn't everyone will want to use it, namely gamers and power users. That's nothing new in the All-in-One market, but in this case, it bears repeating. In and round the AC1900 you'll find a Celeron dual-core E3400 (2.6GHz, 1MB cache, 800MHz FSB), 2GB of DDR3 memory, integrated Intel GMA X4500 graphics, a 320GB hard drive, DVD burner, six USB ports, 4-in-1 memory card reader, a pair of 2W speakers, 802.11g/b Wi-Fi, 1.3MP webcam, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

In other words, this isn't a barn burner, though to be fair it isn't intended to be. Instead, MSI focused on low power consumption and quiet computing, claiming the AC1900 can reduce 63 percent of power consumption under full load compared to conventional 300W PCs.

No word on when this will ship or for how much.
