Mysterious, Ambitious OnePlus One Smartphone Images Leak

The curious OnePlus One smartphone is set to debut in a few days, but a host of images have already leaked out showing the phone’s look and design as well as a peak of the UI. You can see that the design is minimalist in nature, with graceful, subtle curves and a white back. The phone will also apparently employ StyleSwap covers so you can trick out your own handset with a denim look, various wood grains, and more.

Accessories are colored in a bright cherry red, which brings a refreshing splash of color to the understated black and white design.

The UI shots only show so much, but you can see that the home screen is straightforward, with a Google voice search bar at the top of the screen with a few key apps down below, including calling, messaging, camera, settings, and a file manager (that looks like it would be handy). Beyond that we can see some theme options and what is presumably a lock screen. Remember, the phone is running a version of CyanogenMod 11S.

Of course, what people are most interested in is whether or not the OnePlus One will actually, truly land at the promised sub-$400 price point. That seems a tall order, as the 5.5-inch (1080p) device will rock a Snapdragon 801 processor, 16GB to 64GB of onboard storage, and a 13MP/6-lens f/2.0 camera.
