We knew the game category was popular at the iPhone / iPod Touch App Store, but this popular? According to iPhone app tracking site MobClix, that number now exceeds 6,000.
The number, according to MobClix, is 6,276, or 23.1% of the total.
Moreover, puzzle games take nearly 18% of the game total, and free games take about 25% of the game total. What's really cool, though: educational and kids games currently account for 12.8% of the total.
