EA Burns Rubber With Need for Speed Heat Hitting The Pavement This November
Do you feel the need… the need for speed? Ghost Games, an EA Studio, just announced the upcoming release of Need for Speed Heat. The game will reportedly include more customization options and a more immersive narrative.
Need for Speed Heat will take place in the fictional city of “Palm City”. Players will race in a competition referred to as “Speedhunters Showdown” during the day to earn money or “Bank”. Players will also be able to compete in underground races at night to build up their reputation or “Rep”, while outrunning a police task force.
The game also includes more customization options than its predecessors. Riley Cooper, Creative Director at Ghost Games, remarked, “From your character’s style to your car’s performance and your driving style, we’re fueling everyone’s creativity with this new game.” Cooper also noted that there will be a greater variety of challenges for players.
Need for Speed Heat will be available on November 8th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Players can access the game on November 5th with November 5, 2019 with EA Access and Origin Access Basic and get up to ten hours of free play. If you pre-order the standard edition, you will get a K.S Edition styled Mitsubishi Evolution X. If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition you will receive three K.S. Edition vehicles, special character clothing and increased Bank and Rep.
