Nintendo 3DS eShop Now Launching In Early June

Eager to get an app store for the Nintendo 3DS? You'll have to wait a little longer. Nintendo has just announced that the 3DS eShop is still coming, but it'll be early June before it launches. Not too big a delay, and just look at things this way: it'll give you more time to master those augmented reality titles.

According to the press release, the eShop will bring a web browser, a number of new features and enhancements and a June 6/7 launch to the U.S., Japan and Europe. That coincides with E3, and we doubt it's by coincidence. Hopefully, that tied-in launch will mean even more items in the store when it finally launches. Patience is key, right?
