Samsung 'Accidentally' Posts Galaxy Note 9 Preorder Page A Week Ahead Of Launch

Samsung has accelerated past providing teaser videos of its Galaxy Note 9 and just tossed out a pre-order page onto its website for all to see. It's quite apparent that Samsung is trying to drum up interest in the upcoming flagship, and we're sure that the company has plenty to be proud about. What we can tell from the pre-order page is that it is exactly like those press renders and real-world images that leaked last month.

The preorder page was spied by Evan Blass and saved posted to his Twitter account. According to Blass, the preorder link on the page didn’t work so we still don’t have an idea of exactly how much the device will sell for. Some rumors have suggested that the Note 9 will carry a steep price tag, while recent rumors indicate that it might sell for the same MSRP as the Galaxy Note 8, but with double the storage.

The design of the Note 9 isn’t too far removed from that Galaxy Note 8 that before it. One rumor has suggested that if the Galaxy Note 9 doesn't sell well, the device will be combined with the Galaxy S family. This wouldn't exactly be the end of the world, however, for Galaxy Note fans. After all, the primary difference between the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy Note 9 will likely come down to the inclusion of the Bluetooth S Pen on the latter. If future variants of the Galaxy S include a smaller model and then a "+" version with an S Pen, all would be forgiven.

Samsung is hoping for a big hit with the Galaxy Note 9, as sales of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been disappointing so far, leading to less than stellar earnings for the company.
