NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS Threesome?
Guru3d has posted a review of 3 NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS cards in a detailed 3-way shootout. They take Nvidia's latest offering and put them through their paces to determine a winner.
By all means this is not a "new" product though. The graphics core is based on the NVIDIA series G71 graphics core, clocked pretty much the same as that very sexy GeForce 7900 GT, yet this product has a quad less pixel pipelines which brings it down to 20. And that might get a couple of true Guru's thinking a little .. it does sound a lot like the 7800 GT (yet slightly faster) doesn't it ? Why then release this product ? Because it'll compete with team Red .. ATI's Radeon X1800 GTO series of cards.
Take a look at our review here for comparison. This looks like a solid entry into the mid-range Nvidia product line.
