Oculus Rift And Touch Bundle Pricing Temporarily Drops For Last Minute Holiday Shoppers

If you're looking to find a last-minute gift for the PC gamer on your shopping list, and don't mind parting with nearly four Benjamins, the Oculus Rift is now on sale for the low, low price of $379. This represents a $20 discount from its normal selling price.

We should note that this isn't the lowest price we've seen for the virtual reality headset (it fell to $349 on Black Friday), but this is the lowest that we'll probably see for a while. The promotion is good through December 20th. The lower price is available direct from Oculus.com, or if you prefer, you can visit one of your favorite online retailers like Amazon, Best Buy or Newegg to get in on the deal.

The Oculus Rift bundle will get you the VR headset, two Touch controllers, two tracking sensors (although Oculus recommends that you pick up a third), and six free games (Robo Recall, Luckyʼs Tale, Quill, Medium, Dead and Buried, and Toybox).

Oculus Touch Controllers

If you already have an Oculus Rift (or if the gamer on you shopping list already has one), Oculus’ end of the year Winter Sale is still running through January 2nd. Oculus is offering discounts of up to 80 percent on over 250 titles. It also has three, seven-game bundles that are each priced at $89.99 if you want quick and dirty access to some of the best VR experiences on the Oculus Rift.

The Oculus Rift originally debuted at $599, and was then joined by the Touch Controllers, which were priced separately at $199, taking the bundle pricing to $800. Over the past year, however, pricing for the bundle has fallen to $599 and more recently to $399.
