When it comes to unannounced smartphones, China's TENAA regulatory agency is comparable to the FCC in the United States and is prone to leaking device specs ahead of launch. Such is the case with the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship Android smartphone.

A listing on TENAA confirms many of the specs of the smartphone, including the fact that it has a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280x1080. For those keeping score, the OnePlus 5T features a 6-inch display with a 2160x1080 resolution. Another change compared to its predecessor is that the OnePlus 6 will have a notch in its display, which can be hidden if you absolutely loathe the idea.

The processor is listed as an octa-core unit clocked at 2.45GHz, but we already know that this is in fact that Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. This particular device is listed as having 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which leads us to believe that it is likely the entry-level model.  OnePlus already confirmed that the smartphone would be available with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the cameras, there are dual cameras on the back: a primary 20MP sensor backed by a 16MP sensor (which should enable some snazzy depth of field effects). There's also a 16MP camera up front for selfie duties.

The final piece of the puzzle that has been revealed by TENAA is that the smartphone will have an internal 3,300 mAh battery.

We have less than two weeks to go before the veil is lifted on the OnePlus 6. The smartphone will be officially unveiled on May 16th, and we're hoping that it will be bargain priced like its OnePlus 5T predecessor, which started at $499.
