We finally have a reveal date for the next-generation flagship smartphone from OnePlus. The company confirmed this morning that its OnePlus 7T Series of smartphones will debut on September 26th, which is a little over a week away from today.

Unfortunately, the invite that OnePlus sent out to the press is very light on details, other than to reference the return of the 90Hz display that debuted on the OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this year (read the HotHardware review here). However, we're nearly certain that the OnePlus 7T Pro will be powered by the potent Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor that is targeted at gaming phones.

According to a recent leak regarding the OnePlus 7T Series, the OnePlus 7T Pro will get a bump in battery capacity from 4,000 mAh to 4,085 mAh while the lesser OnePlus 7T will see its battery increase slightly from 3,700 mAh to 3,800 mAh. We're not expecting any other major changes for the OnePlus 7T Pro, as the device was already pretty stout when it launched back in late May.

Don’t expect to find any changes to the RAM or storage configurations, which top out at 12GB and 256GB (UFS 3.0) respectively. We also reckon that the OnePlus 7T Pro will retain the same 3120x1440 (QHD+) AMOLED display as its predecessor.

There has been some disagreement as to what the OnePlus 7T Pro will actually look like. Some sources have said that the smartphone will look exactly like its predecessor, while others have claimed that the smartphone will ditch its pop-up flash in favor of a return to the teardrop notch and add a circular pod on the rear for the triple cameras. Whatever the case, the OnePlus 7T Pro will be one of the most powerful smartphones available on the market when it lands later this month.

If the past is any indication, we'll likely only receive the OnePlus 7T Pro in the United States, while the lesser OnePlus 7T will be sold in other global markets. Also expect pricing to remain similar to that of the OnePlus 7 Pro, which starts at $669.
