OnePlus 7T Pro Beefy Specs Reportedly Revealed In This New Leak

OnePlus 7T
OnePlus is getting ready to release a pair new flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T. These handsets have been leaked quite extensively up to this point, including some recent renders that found their way to the web, but what about the specs? Well, yet another leak claims to have the skinny on the hardware and features that will make the OnePlus 7T series tick.

According to Twitter user and self-proclaimed "tech enthusiast" Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T will launch on September 26 in India. He then goes on to list a set of specs without differentiating between the two models, though if we had to guess, the processor and display (at minimum) point to the OnePlus 7T Pro model.

In any event, here's what he says we can expect...
  • 6.55-inch 2K Super AMOLED display w/ 90Hz refresh rate + smaller notch
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 128GB or 256GB of storage
  • 48MP + 16MP + 12MP rear camera arrangement
  • 16MP front camera
  • 3,800mAh battery
Several of those specs appear pulled from a recent blog post at Pricebaba, which partnered with famed leaker Steven Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks on Twitter). However, Agarwal lists a 90Hz refresh rate whereas the blog post does not.

It will be interesting to see how the cameras perform. Both sources list three sensors, with a Sony IMX586 48MP lens serving as the primary camera. However, Agarwal mentions 16MP and 12MP sensors being part of the package, while Hemmerstoffer says there will be a 5MP depth sensor and an unknown third sensor (for wide-angle or telephoto shots).

Either way, there will be a large circular bump on the back of the phone to accommodate the camera sensors, as well as an LED flash. This appears to be the way smartphone makers are going—leaked renders for Apple's next iPhone, for example, show a large camera bump as well.

Since none of this is official, there is no word yet on pricing or a US release date.
