Well this is awkward, Just days after Hewlett Packard dropped a bombshell and announced to the world it wants to rid itself of its pesky PC business and focus all of its attention on software and printers, the OEM rolls out a new all-in-one (AIO) PC. It's the HP Compaq 8200 Elite, a slick looking machine aimed at enterprise users not bothered by HP's sudden 180.
Boasting a 23-inch LED Full HD display, HP's new AIO comes configurable with a boat load of processor options starting with an Intel Pentium G620 (2.6GHz, 3MB cache, 2 cores) and going all the way to a Core i7 2600S (2.8GHz, 8MB cache, 4 cores).
Other features include up to 8GB of DDR3-1333 system memory; choice between a 250GB/1TB SATA hard drive, 320GB SATA SED, or 80GB/160GB SATA solid state drive; DVD writer (Blu-ray combo optional); integrated graphics; six USB 2.0 ports; 6-in-1 media card reader; GbE LAN and 802.11b/g/n (optional) Internet connectivity; SRS Premium Sound; and various flavors of Windows 7.
