Google's Pixel 3a And Pixel 3a XL Trade Deal Offers Up To $600 In Incentives

The launch of the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones this week was no surprise. The devices had been leaked and rumored for months ahead of becoming official. The devices launched starting at $399 for the 3a and $479 for the Pixel 3a XL. Google wants to woo iPhone users to the Android side with these new smartphones, and is offering some trade-in deals on that could put some cash back in their pocket if they switch.

It's hard to imagine owners of high-end devices like the iPhone XS Max moving to a mid-range device, but stranger things have happened. The trade deal for the iPhone XS Max is worth $610 if your device is in good shape. Traders with that deal could get a Pixel 3a XL and pocket about $100. The deals much more likely to woo iPhone users are for some of the older devices out there that iPhone fans have been holding on to thanks to the over $1,000 price for some current-generation devices.

Those with an iPhone 6 in good shape will get about $250 on trade. If you have a good condition iPhone SE you can get around $260 if you trade. iPhone 8 users can get over $300 for their device. Another deal unlikely to be taken advantage of is the iPhone X trade worth up to $470.

Google is also offering trade-in deals on Android devices from Samsung, Huawei, LG, and Motorola, but it really wants those iPhone users. If you plan to trade your device know that doing so before May 18 will also get you $100 to spend on the Google Store.

If you missed the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL announcements both phones have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.
