Polaroid's Z2300 Camera Brings Instant Snapshots Back

These days, it's all about filters. And Instagram. But earlier generations might remember another name: Polaroid. Believe it or not, that name still means something in the world of photography, and the company's new Z2300 is out to prove that this isn't a comeback. It's billed as an "Instant Digital Camera," and also as "the ultimate social media camera." In other words, it's the Instagram of cameras. It features an integrated printer with ZINK Technology, enabling users to instantly capture, edit and in less than a minute print full color, 2x3” prints.  Along with the ability to easily upload images to any social media platform, it also houses a 10MP sensor, a 3.0" LED and a rather classic black/white frame.

The Z2300 uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals, and it offers customizable printing options, including your choice of the iconic Polaroid Classic Border Logo or full bleed and contemporary 2x3” photos with sticky back. The ZINK prints emerge fully developed and protected by a smudge-proof, water-resistant coating. As for pricing? Well, more than a free app, that's for sure. It'll sell for $159.99, while 50-packs of paper retail for $24.99 and 30-packs retail for $14.99.
