US Secret Service Orders President-Elect Trump's Beastly Cadillac One Armored Limousine With Tear Gas Cannon

Being a country's president is undoubtedly one of the most stressful jobs on Earth, but at the same time, there are a few perks that come with the territory. We're not just talking about fine-dining every day, being treated like royalty, or living in one of the most prestigious buildings in the country. There's also the benefit being driven around in a modern marvel of automotive design, a literal tank that doesn't look like a tank and it's an all-class Caddy affair of course.

With President-elect Trump set to be inaugurated on Friday, January 20th, some attention has turned to the presidential vehicle, which always brings with it an incredible spec sheet. Interestingly, while the presidential vehicle has seen dramatic change over time, especially at the end of eight-year terms, Trump's Cadillac One is going to be a relatively modest update, and perhaps the most modest update in history. We may have reached a plateau in vehicle design, at least for now.

The new Cadillac One, priced at about $1.5 mill a pop, is going to weigh many tons, and will house 8 people in its spacious cabin. As before, bottles of the president's blood type will remain in each vehicle in the event of emergencies, which, along with the passengers should remain quite safe behind the vehicle's bullet-proof construction. It'll also have improved suspension to allow it to be raised a few inches - ideal for steep hills when a super-long vehicle is involved. Oh - and the doors will have to be opened from the outside, because they're simply so heavy.

In the event of a zombie breakout, each vehicle will also come equipped with a shotgun, or for potential public unrest and rioting mobs, a tear-gas cannon can be used.

One of the biggest upgrades the new vehicles will enjoy relate to communications. We live in a high speed information technology equipped world these days, so it's no surprise that the president's vehicle needs to be brought up to speed with current technologies and protocols. Regardless, the US presidential limousine has always been designed for armored transportation between air travel vehicles and government buildings; its primary focus is simply on secure transport, rather than being a communications hub on wheels.

If you want your first peak at the new Cadillac One, you won't have to wait much longer, as Trump's inauguration is right around the corner.
