Puget Intros Deluge-i7 And Deluge-i7 Mini PCs

To say it has been awhile since we've seen a compelling new system from Puget Systems would be an understatement, but maybe we just haven't been looking hard enough. Either way, it's hard to ignore the company's latest: a pair of Core i7-based rigs that don't come cheap but promise top-notch performance from top to bottom.

The firm's popular liquid-cooled Deluge family is today seeing two newcomers join the fray, the Deluge-i7 and Deluge-i7 Mini. Both machines are obviously based around Intel's heralded Core i7 architecture, with the former arriving in a traditional tower and the latter arriving in a small(er) form factor that's more suited to LAN parties and the like. Both machines have just about all the power your wallet can stand on tap, with fully customizable build sheets that include options from NVIDIA (GTX/GTS and single/SLI choices are available) and ATI. Both systems also include an Asetek LCLC liquid cooling system or Puget's own homegrown liquid cooling option. Buyers can even opt to add NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Vision if money is of no concern.

The Deluge-i7 and Deluge-i7 Mini gaming systems are available immediately with prices starting at $1830 and $1740, respectively, but good luck leaving the checkout page without the prices being any higher from must-have additions.
