I may not be a smart man, but I know what science is. There is no doubt that the Earth is round — it’s a fact that we’ve known for centuries. But that hasn’t stopped some science-averse people from challenging that idea over the years. The latest is rapper B.o.B, who, as it appears, is a few cards short of a full deck.

B.o.B took to Twitter to debunk the idea that the earth is round using a series of images and misguided commentary. Here’s just a small sample of the tweets B.o.B used to prove his point:

I only have two hands, so I can only give B.o.B two facepalms. However, astrophysicist and all-around good guy Neil deGrasse Tyson wasn’t having any of this nonsense and countered with a healthy dose of knowledge.

For example, B.o.B tweeted:

Neil deGrasse Tyson responded in kind, not only telling the rapper why he was wrong with his thinking, but also nicely letting him know that his measurements were off:

The rapper than decided to give us an astronomy lesson about the Polaris’ visibility in the southern hemisphere. Bad idea, B.o.B — you’re trying to fool a world renowned astrophysicist? Not gonna happen:

Needless to say, Neil deGrasse Tyson could have been a total prick about this whole ordeal and totally destroyed B.o.B. However, he took the high road and wisely held back from unleashing a furious tirade against the rapper. He ended his schooling by being diplomatic and even offering a complement to B.o.B.

That’s the Neil deGrasse Tyson that we all know and love. But perhaps this was just some big publicity stunt by B.o.B, as it's hard to believe that someone in this day and age could possibly cling to such ideas. You be the judge:
