Razer Adds Green Glowing Bling To NZXT S340 Mid-Tower Computer Case

Gaming peripheral maker Razer is once again teaming up with NZXT to pimp out one of its computer cases. This time the recipient of Razer's "predatory design" makeover is the S340, a compact mid-tower chassis with 90 percent steel construction for durability and a budget-friendly price tag.

This is the second product to come from the "Designed by Razer" licensing program, the other being the H440, a mid-tower enclosure also belonging to NZXT. Other case manufacturers are welcome to join Razer's licensing party, though only NZXT has done so up to this point.

Through this collaboration, the S340 gains a black paint job with a Razer's signature green backlit triple-headed snake logo on the front panel and the cable management bar. There's also a green illuminated LED power button, a green underglow, and green colored USB ports. There's a switch on the back to turn the underglow on and off.

Custom features aside, it's the same S340 case as NZXT's non-Razer licensed version. Cooling options include to 140mm or 120mm fans on the front, a 140mm or 120mm (included) up top, and a 120mm (included) in the rear. Alternately, you can fit a 280mm or two 120mm radiators up front and a 140mm or 120mm radiator in the rear for liquid cooling chores.

The S340 measures 200mm x 445mm x 432mm and can fit graphics cards up to 364mm long (up to 334mm if installing a radiator) and CPU coolers up to 161mm (up to 58mm with a front radiator or 75mm with a rear radiator installed).

NZXT is taking pre-orders for the S340 Designed by Razer. It runs $100, $30 more than the non-Razer version, and is estimated to ship by September 18.
