Razer Announces Special Edition Abyssus with Chrome Mirror Finish

Razer has taken a bucket of bling and poured it all over the company's Abyssus gaming mouse for a brand new rodent, the Abyssus Mirror Special Edition. As the name suggests, the new mouse sports a black chrome mirror finish on the outside, while the inside retains all the features of the original Abyssus, including a 3.5G infrared sensor.

"The black chrome mirror finish of the Razer Abyssus Mirror Special Edition adds a certain stylistic sensibility to the desktop," said Robert 'Razerguy' Krakoff, president, Razer USA. "The Razer Abyssus Mirror is designed for gamers that prefer a slick glossy aesthetic finish. It also serves as the ideal complement to other reflective peripherals, such as the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition keyboard."

South paws are still in luck thanks to an ambidextrous design, while other features include a 3500dpi sensor, 1000Hz Ultrapolling with a 1ms response time, on-the-fly sensitivity adjustments, 60-120 inches per second and 15g of acceleration, three independently programmable "Hypersponse" buttons, and a scroll wheel with 24 individual click positions.

The special edition rodent will go on sale in May for $50.
