And if you’re a gamer with one of the current-gen consoles looking for a Resident Evil fix, we’ve got some good news for you – Resident Evil 4, 5,and 6 are coming to both the Sony PlayStation 4
and Microsoft Xbox One
, starting late next month.
A post on the Capcom
Unity website says, “If you haven’t had a chance to play these yet or if you’ve been wanting to play them on your current consoles, we’ve got good news for you. Starting with Resident Evil 6 on March 29, all three games will be available for PS4 and Xbox One for an MSRP of only $19.99”.
Resident Evil 6 is one of the larger games in the franchise. It has four campaigns that intersect at various points and can be played single-player or co-op modes, in any order. The version that’s coming out for the PS4 and XBone includes the original four campaigns along with all of the post-release updates and DLC
, and all of the costumes that were originally available through ResidentEvil.net.
The release cadence for the games starts with Resident Evil 6 on March 29. Resident Evil 5 is set to arrive sometime in the summer of 2016 and Resident Evil 4 will follow in the fall, though specific dates for the latter two releases weren’t mentioned.
