Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Phablet Could Adopt USB Type-C Connector And Revised Gear VR Headset
Outside of USB Type-C connectivity, previous rumors peg the Galaxy Note 6 as having a 5.8-inch curved display with the same 2560x1440 resolution as the previous version. Powering the display will be one of two SoCs—either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 or Samsung's own Exynos 8xxx.
It's also been suggested that the Galaxy Note 6 will ship with 6GB of RAM. We're skeptical of that since today's flagship phones typically feature 4GB, but if Samsung is looking to make waves and win the specs war, we suppose that's one way of going about it.
Rounding out the rumored feature set is 32GB of built-in storage + microSD card slot, 5MP front-facing camera, 12MP rear-facing camera, and a 4,000 mAh battery,
Getting back to the USB Type-C port, if that holds true, it will be interesting to see if Samsung also launches a revised Gear VR headset. The current versions sports a micro USB port.
