Samsung, Logitech, S3 and More!

Hey gang, time for another news update.  I'm a little behind my normal schedule today after spending a long night of reformatting my machine.  It looks like my desktop box didn't appreciate a recent lightening storm too much.  It took a while to figure out what was wrong, but a memory swap seems to have done the trick.  Luckily I didn't lose any data!  Today I'll put the finishing touches on software installs and image the drive for good measure.  Hopefully that will be the end of this saga.  But before I get started on that, I owe you some news.  Let's go!

Samsung SGH-D410C Phone review @ HardwareZoom:

"The body is metallic silver in colour measures 9.75 x 4.85 x 2.4cm & weight 116g, the corners are rounded to gives a smooth feel & a refined, elegant looks. Just below the screen is a dual-colours service light, users can customise the colour of the LED from seven different colours combinations. This light will blink when there is incoming SMS. When I was travelling in the train, several passengers had asked me about the phone, they were very impressed with the screen and the design as much as I do."

Logitech Bluetooth Cordless MX Duo Review @ designtechnica:

"With cutting edge technology and a sleek, sexy look, the Cordless Desktop MX for Bluetooth is sure to please many users. The excellent overall functionality, coupled with the ergonomic considerations, make it a good choice for many users – providing they are right-handed and use Windows 2000 or XP."

The DeltaChrome S4 Pro: S3 Graphics' Entry-Level Offspring @ XBitLabs:

"S3 Graphics has finally uncovered its graphics processor for entry-level market segment that will be opposed to integrated chipsets along with low-end graphics cards. The DeltaChrome S4 Pro inherited all the capabilities found in the more advanced S8 chip, but is it enough to become the king of the entry-level market?"

Lilliput 7" Wide Screen VGA TFT LCD with Touch Screen @ BigBruin.Com:

"The growing popularity of small form factor computers has done wonders to increase the availability, while also decreasing the prices. As the prices of mini systems become easier to afford, more and more systems are finding their way into less than typical installations, such as in the family car. Using a computer in a car obviously requires special display and input considerations not needed in the home, and the Lilliput 7" display featured in this review addresses both. The 7" VGA TFT LCD display features a resistive touch screen, making it easy to view and control basic applications with one compact device."

ATI World Headquarters Tour @ VR-Zone Hardware:

"Just a few minutes away from Toronto, ATI World Headquarters is located at 1 Commerce Valley Drive East in Markham, Ontario; one of the largest technological hubs in all of Canada. The building is right off of HWY-407 and was only about a four hour drive from Detroit."

Philips PSC725 Ultimate Edge 24 bit Soundcard @ Hardcoreware.net:

"Today we're looking at the Ultimate Edge from Philips. It's based on the Envy24 GT chipset from VIA, and capable of 24 bit resolution with 96 kHz sample rate. Find out how it compares to Creative's latest greatest, and find out how much of an improvement Intel's new High Definition Audio specification brings to today's motherboards (hint: not much)"

Gigaram 2*512MB PC3200 Dual Channel Kit @ Overclockersonline.com:

"What happens when two different companies use the same IC on their modules? Is there a huge performance difference? Find out as I take my new Gigaram sticks out for a test drive."

AMD Athlon 64 Socket-939 DIY Guide @ HardwareZone.com:
