Samsung's Behold II Brings Yet Another Dose Of Android To T-Mobile
AT&T may have the iPhone, and Sprint may have the Pre. You could
argue that Verizon Wireless has the BlackBerry Storm, but you can
definitely say that T-Mobile USA has the Android devices. While most of
the other carriers are slowly picking up Google-powered units, T-Mobile
is snagging yet another in the Samsung Behold II.
Boasting a 3.2" AMOLED touchscreen, 5MP camera (with AutoFocus and flash), Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1 and Microsoft Exchange support, the Behold II is a smartphone that's easily as powerful as any out there right now. There's also a microSD expansion port, A-GPS for navigation, video recording support and a promise to provide a "rich Internet/multimedia experience." As with most Samsung devices, this one also has the TouchWiz interface, which assures users that customizations won't be a problem.
Of course, the App Market is also available (as with every other Android device), though two pieces that aren't available are as follows: a price, and a release date. We know T-Mobile is just toying with us here, but the teasing has to stop. We're guessing this one will be out prior to the Christmas rush--anyone agree with that logic?
