SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 Flash Drive Boasts 128GB Storage, Up to 240MB/s Write Performance
SanDisk is no stranger to the tech version of storage wars, and lest anyone question it, the company just announced its new Extreme PRO USB 3.0 flash drive featuring premium-grade performance and blazing fast file transfers at up to 60 times the speed of standard USB 2.0 drives. We're talking about read and write speeds of up 260MB/s and 240MB/s, respectively.
With that kind of performance, users can transfer a full-length movie in seconds, or 1,000 high-resolution photos in less than 35 seconds, SanDisk says. That's provided your PC is rocking a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port, otherwise it will top out at pedestrian USB 2.0 speeds.

It features an aluminum metal casing and comes with SanDisk SecureAccess software with 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection.
The drive is available now for $200 MSRP and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
