Score An Xbox One S 1TB Console For $208 With This Hot Deal

If you're looking for a hot deal on an Xbox One S console, we've got two options available for you today. Both Walmart and Amazon are selling the Xbox One S 1TB console for a low $208, which is a steep discount from the MSRP of $299 (and the typical sale price of $250).

This particular version of the console doesn't come with any bundled games, and includes a single wireless controller. In other words, it's just a barebones entry into the Microsoft-ecosystem when it comes to console gaming. What you do get is a gaming console that can play back 4K content and includes a built-in Blu-ray drive for those time when you want the utmost image fidelity compared to the compressed streams that you'll find on services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

What's interesting about this deal, however, is that it actually undercuts pricing for the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, which is priced at $249.99. That console doesn't include a Blu-ray drive, hence its lower "off sale" starting price. Granted, the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition does come with codes for three free game downloads in the box: Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3, and Sea of Thieves.

You have to ask yourself this question however: are those three games and a lack of a Blu-ray drive enough to justify paying an extra $40+ over the deal in this post? We'd personally rather save the $40 and put it towards a game that we really enjoy and have access to that Blu-ray drive, but you might think otherwise.
