Sprint Adds Motorola Photon 4G Android Smartphone To Line On Jul y31

Another week, another 4G-enabled Android phone for Sprint. It feels like just yesterday that the first WiMAX phone that Sprint ever had was launching, and now the selection is blossoming at a rapid rate. Motorola's Photon 4G is the latest phone to launch, and it's hailed as the carrier's first international 4G smartphone. You probably won't want to even see the roaming rates, but at least you can if need be.

This phone has a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, Sprint ID (which delivers a variety of apps, widgets, shortcuts, ringtones and wallpapers), Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a 4.3" touchscreen, 8MP rear camera, a qHD display, a VGA front camera, Android Market access 16GB of onboard memory, support for up to 32GB of storage via microSD, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability, supporting up to eight devices on the Sprint 3G or 4G networks and worldphone capabilities.
