Sprint Ships HTC's EVO 3D Smartphone And View 4G Tablet
Guess what? Sprint's got a new pair of HTC devices for you to consider. The company just launched the EVO 3D, America's first 3D-enabled smartphone, and the EVO 4G, which is yet another tablet option in an already crowded market. Both of these are going to be Sprint exclusives, at least for now, so if you're hoping to grab either, you'll need to also grab a Sprint contract.
HTC EVO 3D, America's first glasses-free 3D phone will cost $199.99 and HTC EVO View 4G, the first 4G-enabled tablet in the United States, will cost $399.99. Both of those sums will require a 2-year agreement as well. While you probably know the EVO 3D well by now, the View 4G is rather compelling. It offers a 7" touchpanel, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and latest version of HTC Sense. It's becoming ever tougher to find a good, well-specced 7" tablet these days, and while it does ship only with Gingerbread, an update to Honeycomb is promised to bring it more in line with most of the other mainstream tablets launching today.
Additionally, for a limited time, any customer who purchases HTC EVO View 4G will receive the HTC Scribe digital pen (otherwise sold separately) at no additional charge. That thing goes for a whopping $80, so getting one gratis is definitely a boon. So, who's making an impulse buy on a sunny Sunday?
