Sprint’s Latest ‘For Life’ Lease Deal Bundles iPad, iPhone For $100 Per Month

In case you haven't noticed, wireless carriers are fighting each other tooth and nail, and they're fighting over you. Yes, you! That's especially true of Sprint and T-Mobile, two companies that nearly merged with one another a few months ago, and are now bitter rivals, each trying to steal subscribers away from the other (along with Verizon and AT&T). As a result, there have been a lot of new pricing plans and promotions, the latest of which has Sprint combining its "iPhone for Life" and "iPad for Life" plans into a single lease option.

Taking advantage of the new deal, you can snag an iPhone 6 smartphone and iPad mini 3 tablet for $100 per month with no activation fee or upfront costs. The price applies to the 16GB models, both of which are leased through Sprint's iPhone and iPad for Life programs. What it boils down to is a $17 savings, though here's a closer look at what you're getting.

The above runs $100 per month, with Sprint wiping out the iPad mini 3's monthly lease rate in the form of a $17 credit each month, hence why it comes to $100 ($20 to lease the iPhone 6, $50 for the Unlimited Plan, and $30 for the iPad mini 3's 2GB data plan).

Sprint also offers special bundling deals on 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6 and iPad mini 3 models, iPhone 6 Plus models, and the iPad Air 2, though the price goes up. Either way, the deal is valid until April 9.

This is Sprint's latest effort to entice customers away from the competition, and so far, it's seeing a bit of success -- the wireless company last month said it added 967,000 new customers.
