Star Wars Battlefront II Open Beta Now Live On PC, PS4 And Xbox One
Come one, come all—everyone is now invited to play the Star Wars Battlefront II beta and engage in galactic warfare. Following a two-day Early Access period that was made available to people who pre-ordered the multiplayer title, Electronic Arts has opened up the beta experience to all players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and Windows PC gamers.
The open beta runs through the weekend before coming to a close on October 9 at precisely 9 AM Pacific (12 PM Eastern). After that it becomes a waiting game for the titles full release on November 17 as EA and EA Dice make some last minute tweaks based on what turns up during the beta period.
Gamers who are interested in playing the beta will have access to four different modes. They include Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, Strike, and Arcade, the last of which is an offline mode with support for one or two players in a split screen format. The other three modes are all multiplayer supporting up to 40 simultaneous players.
