Storage Options Brings Low-Cost Android Tablets To Market

Android tablets must be the new black. Or, something like that. The deluge continues, and while it was already hard enough to make heads or tails of the blooming Android slate market, this won't make things any easier. The newest on the block is one from Storage Options, which is introducing two new guys in the 2012 tablet line-up. Both, of course, will ship with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Scroll Elite and Engage are the newcomers.

The first one has a 9.7" capacitive touch panel, 16GB of built-in memory, a microSD card slot, an IPS panel, and Android 4.0. The Engage ships with an 8" capacitive XGA display, a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, Mali-400 dual-core CPU and plenty of power for "3D gaming," or so the company says. The best part? These are fairly inexpensive. The Elite will ship for under $300, while the Engage will ship for under $200. Interested now?
