Streacom Unveils Full Specs on FC9 and FC10 HTPC Chassis

There’s been quite a few smallish cases unveiled this week, and we’ll finish the list off with two more. Streacom announced full specifications on the FC9 and FC10 fanless HTPC chassis. The cases are awfully pretty, with a sandblasted aluminum finish in black or silver and understated profile to blend in with your home theater room.

Both the FC9 and FC10 feature Heatpipe DirectTouch cooling in lieu of fans as well as a slim slot-loading optical drive; two USB 3.0-ready side ports; support for Nano160, 200, 200XT or StreaFlex 250 PSUs; and support for an MCE-compatible IR receiver and remote control.

The FC9 supports mini-ITX and micro-ATX motherboards, has a trio of low-profile expansion slots, and has room for three 2.5-inch drives (or two 2.5-inch drives and a 3.5-incher). The bigger FC10 can also handle a full-size ATX board, has two full-height expansion slots, and can accommodate two 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch drives.

These sweet-looking cases aren’t available yet in the U.S., but here’s hoping they come ashore soon.
